New
Labels on whiteboards.
Turn any text on a whiteboard into a label with its own icon and colour. Select a text shape, choose Turn into label, then pick an icon and a colour. Drag the side handles to change wrapping, or the corners to resize it.
Shot cards number themselves.
Duplicate or copy a shot card on a whiteboard and it automatically takes the next ID: 1A gives 1B, then 1C and 1D. Change a card to 2A by hand and its copies continue 2B, 2C.
A new Settings.
Settings has a cleaner layout with clear sections for your profile, appearance, notifications, billing and collaborators. Your account menu has been redesigned too, and now includes Share CineFlow so you can invite friends.
Improved
Whiteboards on your phone, rebuilt.
On your phone, the whiteboard toolbar now matches the rest of the app. Tool options fit on screen, menus are easier to tap, and templates fit your screen when you add them.
Whiteboard items land where you are looking.
New items now appear in the centre of your view. Image colour palettes sit right below their image, shot cards follow light and dark mode, and you can edit a shot ID directly on the card.
iPad taps work first time.
A single tap with your finger or Apple Pencil now does what you expect, in Safari or from your Home Screen. This includes shot list rows.
Fixed
Whiteboards no longer freeze.
On busy boards, especially ones with comments, moving things could freeze the page for a second or more. This no longer happens.
Logging out only signs out this device.
Logging out on your phone or in a browser no longer signs you out everywhere else. To sign out of every device at once, use Settings.
Photos and uploads behave as expected.
Changing a cast or crew photo now waits until you press Save, and Cancel keeps the old photo. If a storyboard image fails to upload, you now see an error and can try again.
